(soon to be moved to project/experimental). What's new?
- rewritten sparc backend (includes ultrasparc support).
- major (?) performance increase at least for dhrystone on ppro (9%)
(see http://www.cygnus.com/ml/egcs/1998-Oct/1166.html).
- new frontends (chill and java).
- pascal front end currently disabled.
I would like to get information about package builds on architectures
other than i386. Please run the testsuite! (Needs dejagnu from
project/experimental).
