Well, my following mails suggested not to use this. :) Anyway, further studies (accidential) showed that 'scp' also gave this symptom, without compression. Since I use ssh with cvs, it might be possible this is where the problem is. ssh 1.2.26-1 Tomas - [EMAIL PROTECTED]
