Student - University of Cape Town, South Africa It almost sounds to me that setterm is blanking out your screen during disuse. I'm not sure what init script changes this, maybe someone else can tell you this, (/etc/rc.?/) but it's one of the sysinit scripts that gets run when the machine goes into multiuser mode, I think.
I know the command to fix it would be /bin/setterm -blank 0 would keep setterm from blanking the screen. If you found which initscript that was in, you could edit the time period until it blanks and set it to 0. --Alex __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
