If it is any consolation peter, I have never been able to make audio work with any of my sparc4's, 5's or even on this ultra 5 (which has woody installed).
It seems like a complete mystery to me. david it is not like a huge priority but sometimes i might just like to hear a mp3 as i try to do some real work.....
