I have an SS20. I have installed Debian/Woody on it. This all works, except for the boot stage: I get an "Illegal Instruction". I found http://lists.debian.org/debian-sparc/2002/debian-sparc-200203/msg00125.html and therefore know that I can enter "boot disk1" to make it work (and it does).
However, I'm not very familiar with this PROM: how can I make a long-term change such that the system boots itself without my intervention? Roger -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
