I think it's a bug in the CD. it's easy to workaround, what I do is mount the CD on another system, take a look at what's in /boot and what's in SILO.CONF(I think that's it..) and put the paramters in manually, you need the kernel image and the initrd line. I forget what it is off the top of my head but the silo.conf file should tell you everything, then at the silo: prompt just type it in. nate
