The Debian kernel-image-*-sparc64-smp packages appear to work well for the E450.
As far as scsi goes - if you're using the scsi controller provided by Sun for this box, then you should have: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic 53c875 Again, this is supported by the Debian sparc64 kernel images.
