Hi, I am a newbie to Debian Linux on Sparc. Recently, I successfully installed the Debian 3.1 (Sarge) on my Ultra 5. Everything seems ok except the sound. I cannot change the sound volume in Speaker icon at the top right hand side corner of the GNOME desktop. I do enable the sound server in GNOME desktop. When it starts up, I can hear the beep and it is not a hardware problem. Would somebody help me?
