It would probably be best to follow the release notes/installation instructions, especially on an old machine like this. You might want to pay particular attention to the parts that say '...back up your system before upgrading....' On questionable architectures, I created an NFS root first, then upgraded. If it went OK, I then copied that back to the disk. If it doesn't, no harm done. Takes a little longer, but takes some of the nail biting out of it, too. I did that on both my SS20 and my dual PPC 604 machine. If something goes wrong you can just start over. > Will a Woody package run in Sarge?
