Hello I installed the packaged 2.6.29 kernel. It did not boot, so thought of building one from source. I looked at the config for the distributed kernel and was a little disturbed to see.... b...@spain:~$ head /boot/config-2.6.29-1-sparc64 # # Automatically generated make config: don't edit # Linux kernel version: 2.6.29 # Fri Apr 17 14:27:44 2009 # # CONFIG_64BIT is not set CONFIG_SPARC=y CONFIG_SPARC32=y # CONFIG_SPARC64 is not set CONFIG_ARCH_DEFCONFIG="arch/sparc/configs/sparc32_defconfig" b...@spain:~$ I really did expect to see CONFIG_SPARC64 and not CONFIG_SPARC32 set.. I googled and saw no outstanding bugs against the package. But it does look very wrong to me? Bob -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-sparc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
