I am running debian-sarge, kernel 2.6.7, KDE 3.2.

If I log in at the KDE-desktop, open a console and type "dmesg", I just get:

codec_semaphore: semaphore is not ready [0x1][0x700300]
codec_write 1: semaphore is not ready for register 0x54
codec_semaphore: semaphore is not ready [0x1][0x700300]
codec_write 1: semaphore is not ready for register 0x54
codec_semaphore: semaphore is not ready [0x1][0x700300]
codec_write 1: semaphore is not ready for register 0x54
...

If change to another virtual console (Alt+Ctrl+F1), I get without typing
anything the same message.

Does anybody know, what the message mean and where it comes from.

Thanks
Heiko
