Under the 2.4 kernels, I could use the extended keys on my keyboard (Compaq Easy Access keyboard). It required the "kbd-reset" boot parameter in order the keys to work.
Under the 2.6 kernels, those keys do not work (with or without the "kbd-reset" parameter). By not working I mean the "showkey -s" does not show any scan codes.
