Big improvements with 2.0.36: Identify total amount of RAM - gets rid of all the 'why does it say 16MB when I have 32MB?' questions.
Better AIC7xxx support - in particular, the latest Dell servers can't boot from a vanilla 2.0.35. TI ThunderLAN non-experimental (as shipped with Compaq DeskPros). Downsides: Large ISDN layer changes, maybe requiring new tools. Bigger syscall table (does this change libc?). No info on stability yet, but 2.0.36 went through 22 -pre versions. I'd certainly find it more convenient to have 2.0.36 on the boot disks, because building customised boot disks for our Dells is a pain.
