I don't know what it is about these fileutils bugs, but they apparently
keep dropping off the exclude list. They are only applicable to the POTATO
package!

Maybe some intelligence should be built into the BTS / scanning of the
BTS? After all, the package version is (should) be available in the
report. If the slink version is less than the version with the reported
bug, then at the least indicate that this bug may not be applicable to
the release-critical list?
