I found four messages in the Dec. 99 Debian-boot archive. They mention "tmscsim" and "AM53C974". I know the AM53C974 is the correct driver. But the errors messages I see mention: "read linux/drivers/scsi/README.tmscsim", which I don't have a clue where to find, anyway. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- BTW, I also have an i486/66 on an EISA MB. No Debian CDs or floppies in my inventory would fully boot, install and run. This is the Debian 2.0.0 and 2.1.0 CDs and assorted rescue floppies. The only non-Debian system I have that fully works is RH 5.1. So that's doing fine, except it's got the 2.0.34 kernel with its CD driver missing, remember? So, will Debian 2.2, and the 2.2.5++ boot floppies, support this i486 with EISA MB? I will be happy to test and report. ------------------ Eddie Maddox [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
