By running dpkg-preconfigure on each .deb file I finally arrived at the psfontmgr_0.4.5 package in woody, which gs recommends. The Bug is #106360 (grave), reported by you three days ago (funny :-). Now, ideally I would like to see psfontmgr_0.4.5 out of woody, but I don't know whether this is asking too much. Thanks a lot.
