Well that's pretty odd. What is your sources.list set to; is it just updating from the CD you made? Do the Packages.gz files on the CD you made have Task: fields in them? If not, perhaps debian-cd is stripping the Task: fields when it makes Packages files or something. The Packages files on the mirrors certianly do have Task: fields in them. -- see shy jo
