I am using kernel 2.4.17 with quota support and have set up quotas for individual users so far. Everything works fine, repquotas correctly reports quota violations, warnquota send appropriate email to the appropriate user, and so on.
The quotas however doesn't get enforced. The hard, soft quotas as well as the grace time have been exceeded. but the user in question still can create and extend. Has anybody experienced the same recently? I looked through the mailinglists and there doesn't seem anything related. Am I missing something basic?
