I'm trying to install woody on a PowerMac 6400 with an AsanteFAST 10/100 card, but having no luck. The NIC, which works fine in MacOS, isn't recognized. The only driver that looks remotely suitable is the ng_tulip driver (the Asante has a tulip chip, as I understand it). But that won't install.
Here is an excerpt of the messages I get when I try to add ng_tulip to the kernel using the installer interface: /lib/modules/2.2.20-pmac/net/ng_tulip.o: init_module: Device or resource busy Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters /lib/modules/2.2.20-pmac/net/ng_tulip.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.2.20-pmac/net/ng_tulip.o failed /lib/modules/2.2.20-pmac/net/ng_tulip.o: insmod ng_tulip failed Installation failed. depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.2.20-pmac/pcmcia/serial_cb.o depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.2.20-pmac/pcmcia/serial_cs.o Can anyone shed any light on this? -B...
