Emacs of course honours this, when running in X ... however, when I run jed or emacs in a konsole (emacs by unexporting DISPLAY), it resorts to "alt-" instead of "meta-", any idea why this would be? Is this an actual bug in konsole? It's unfortunately the only terminal proggie I have for X atm. Maybe I should try out xterm etc. as well.
