Package: upgrade-reports This is debian-testing on ppc. I did "apt-get dist-upgrade" and lost metacity.
metacity requires libgconf2-4 (>= 1.1.9) libgconf2-4 depends on gconf2 gconf2 installs libgconf2-4 and REMOVES all of these: eog gconf gnome-applets gnome-control-center gnome-gv gnome-utils libgconf11 libgnome-vfs-common libgnome-vfs0 Yow! That doesn't look OK at all.
