That is not a stock kernel, it is an installer kernel. Stock kernels are in packages named kernel-image-*. For example, this machine is running 2.4.21-3-686, which is supplied by the kernel-image-2.4.21-3-686 package. You don't say what kernel the RH machine (where the images works) is running.
