El manel te molta rao. Cal afegir que la solucio mes utilitzada son els tunels
ssh.
Esta explicat a man ssh:

is automatically forwarded to the remote side in such a way that any X11
programs started from the shell (or command) will go through the
encrypted channel, and the connection to the real X server will be made

Si no us funciona, mireu a /etc/ssh/sshd_config (en el canto servidor) que
l'opcio X
forward estigui activa.
