Please, note that this email address is about to die!!! By late afternoon PST today (Thursday morning at the latest) this email address will be dead forever. Forever, I say. "Why?" you may ask. The malicious and relentless virus-writers and spammers have gotten a hold of it and are currently bombarding my inbox with many thousands of virus/spams a day (about 100,000 since last Wednesday), as well as using it as a "spoof" address to bombard others with virus/spams that I did not send, and I can't take it anymore.
If your email inbox has experienced a similarly overwhelming amount of crap lately, like emails with virus attachments, plain ol' spam, and/or messages about "undeliverable" emails you did not send (which is a clue that your address is being spoofed to send others crap), or if you email inbox does become overtaken in the future, you might want to do the same and just abandon your current email address for a new one (and give it out to only the most trusted sources). You received this automated-reply because: 1) you sent a virus-spam email: if you did not deliberately send this virus or spam and yet it indeed came from your computer, note that your PC has been remotely hijacked and you should buy and install some serious virus/worm and firewall protection ASAP (every internet user should have these installed and updated regularly) and turn your PC off when you are not using it. OR 2) your email address was spoofed by evil-doers: if these emails clogging my inbox are not even coming from your machine, then someone is obviously "spoofing" your email address to make it seem like the virus/spams are coming from you, and you probably get quite a bit of "undeliverable" messages, meaning that your address is spoofed so often that it even sends virus/spams to non-existent email addresses, and you might seriously want to consider getting a new email address and cancelling this one ASAP. If, for some reason, you sent me a legitimate email and got this message in error, and I never saw what you sent, please call me at work for my new email address and resend your message. peace, and good luck!!
