Hallo, thank you for your helpful information! Now I hear two high beeps and all seams to be ok. Just one problem left:
/var/lib/pcmcia/stab/: Socket 0: Adaptec APA-1480 SCSI Host Adapter 0 scsi apa1480_cb 0 sg#a003 21 0 Socket 1: empty The device name is a little bit strange. Should I load some extra modules in /etc/pcmcia/config.opts and if yes, which one? Or is it a complet different problem? Thank you for answering, Alex. > On Thu, Apr 11, 2002 at 03:00:28PM +0100, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > > in /etc/pcmcia/config.opts: module "apa1480_cb" opts "reset=1 ultra=1" > > .... > > > /lib/modules/2.2.19/pcmcia/apa1480_cb.o: invalid parameter parm_reset > > The apa1480_cb driver does not support these options any more. > Instead use the same format as the aic7xxx driver, as documented in > the kernel source tree in linux/drivers/scsi/README.aic7xxx, i.e., > > module "apa1480_cb" opts "aic7xxx=..." > > The aic7xxx driver does reset by default, and now doesn't have a way > of disabling ultra SCSI support. > > -- Dave > -- Zum AUSTRAGEN schicken Sie eine Mail an [EMAIL PROTECTED] mit dem Subject "unsubscribe".
