Ich starte den pppoe mit der Option '-m 1452'. Ich weiss nicht mehr,
ob das in der Standardkonfiguration von /etc/ppp/peers/dsl-provider
drinstand, oder ob ich das selber hinzugefügt habe. Jedenfalls hatte
ich damit noch nie Probleme.
Hier mal meine /etc/ppp/peers/dsl-provider:
