das XKB gar nicht richtig funktioniert.

Das sieht soweit Ok aus, ich nehme mal an du hast Xorg aus Testing, bist
du sicher das du alle Pakete von Xorg installiert hast? Insbesondere
solltest du alle pruefen die xkb im Namen tragen.

Fehlt da was? Die libglu1*-Pakete?
Was anderes wuesste ich da momentan auch nicht, obiges sollte dir
erstmal ein dt. Tastaturlayout bereitstellen, da sollte Strg+Alt+<0-6>
zum tty umschalten. AltGr wird in der Konfiguration nicht arbeiten wie
erwartet, IIRC, dafuer muesstest du nodeadkeys aktivieren...
Ok, das tut ja nicht weh.
Ach was steht eigentlich im Xorg.log? Vllt. sagt er dir da ja was ihm
nicht schmeckt.

Der erste Error sollte nicht stören, da muss ich mal für das vdr-plugin
"softdevice" ran. Die letzte Zeile ist wohl entscheidender, wenn ich
auch nicht verstehe warum er die keymap nicht laden kann - vielleicht
weil ein Paket fehlt, wie du oben nahegelegt hast?
