So ist das zumindest bei meiner Version (2.43-1).

Version 2.20 (woody):

-P Normally SpamAssassin will write the rewritten message
to the mail spool by default. The -P parameter will
cause it to pipe the output to STDOUT instead.

Ich habe nur die 2.20 installiert. Eben das was Woody vorgibt.
Ist der 2.43 besser? Der benutzt doch sicherlich die gleichen
Regeln, oder?
