The tar file package contains source code, libraries, makefiles and documentation organized into a single tar file. To install the tar file, unpack it, build the sources and install them. If you are using the SuSE RPM, see NOTE: SuSE INSTALLATIONS, above: example% tar -xvzf nforce.tgz example% cd nforce example% make example% su Password: ****** example# make install ---schnapp--- Was ich bisher gemacht habe: apt-get install kernel-source-2.4.18-bf2.4 Download und Entpacken des tar-Files in ~/nforce Es passiert folgendes: ~/nforce$ make make -C nvnet make[1]: Entering directory `/home/guenther/nforce/nvnet' cc -c -DLINUX -DMODULE -DEXPORT_SYMTAB -D__KERNEL__ -O -Wstrict-prototypes -DCONFIG_PM -fno-strict-aliasing -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2 -march=i686 -falign-functions=4 -DMODULE -I/usr/src/linux-2.4.18/include nvnet.c In file included from nvnet.c:21: nvnet.h:20: linux/module.h: No such file or directory [ähnliche Fehler gelöscht] nvnet.h:42: asm/io.h: No such file or directory [...] nvnet.c:40: parse error nvnet.c:1208: parse error make[1]: *** [nvnet.o] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/guenther/nforce/nvnet' make: *** [nvnet_make] Error 2 Und Ende. Tja, leider bin ich da mit meinem Latein am Ende. Hat evtl. jemand einen Tip?
