Eine extra Partition halte ich für keine gute Idee. Die musst Du von Hand
immer auf allen Platten aktuell halten sonst bringt Dir Dein Raid bei
einem Platten Ausfall wenig.
Ich fahre mehrere Rechner mit Raid 1, wobei alle Partitionen auf Raid 1
(auch Swap) liegen. Mit lilo >= 22.2:

raid-extra-boot="/dev/hda,/dev/hdi"

map=/boot/map

Raid-extra-boot sollte aber auch mit Auto funktionieren.
