Olá Alberto. Consegui subir a minha placa Wi-Fi. Parece que as
diferenças entre nossos problemas são a marca/modelo da placa e o fato
de sua rede wireless estar recebendo IP via DHCP. Não sou muito
entendido no assunto mas veja o que fiz por aqui:
1- O AP está com IP fixo.
2 - Não habilitei o AP como DHCP server.
3 - Atribuí IP fixo à minha placa de rede wireless.
4 - Configurações da rede wireless:
Segui o tutorial do link abaixo. Funcionou e está funcionando. Estou
navegando através da Wi-Fi.
Não esqueça de usar ethX ou wlanX ou athX, conforme o módulo de sua
placa é definido.

Bem no final do artigo há uma observação sobre talvez ser necessário
primeiro derrubar a placa cabeada, principalmente se estiver sendo usado
o ndiswrapper.
