faz o seguinte, da um ping la no primeiro ftp que tu mostrou.... assim: ping
-a URL

one url é o endereço do site..... la vai mostrar o IP...depois tenta entrar
no site pelo nome, depois pelo IP, se der somente para entrar pelo IP é
problema do DNS com certeza....então no resolv.conf coloque o DNS que está
configurado para você..lembrando, que se vc não usa proxy, mas usa roteador,
tem roteador que emula funções DNS, se for seu caso coloque o IP do roteador
como DNS, e veja se funciona.
