Olá, eu estou tendo alguns problemas quando tento iniciar através de um disquete. Eu criei o disco de boot com os seguintes comandos:
fdformat /dev/fd0
mkfs.ext2 /dev/fd0
rm -rf /floppy/lost+found
dd if=/vmlinuz of=/dev/fd0
rdev /dev/fd0 /dev/hdb3
rdev -R /dev/fd0 1
Minha tabela de partições é a seguinte:
/dev/hdb1 swap
/dev/hdb2 /boot
/dev/hdb3 /root
/dev/hdb5 /usr
/dev/hdb6 /var
/dev/hdb7 /tmp
/dev/hdb8 /opt
/dev/hdb9 /home
Ao dar o boot pelo disquete recebo a seguinte mensagem:
Verifying DMI Pool Data...
Loading...
Uncompressing Linux...
invalid compressed format (err=1)
--system halted
Há algum tempo eu venho recebendo a seguinte mensagem ao rodar o lilo:
#lilo

Mas nunca tive problemas na inicialização pelo hd.
Estou precisando urgentemente de um disco de boot, pois vou ter que
reinstalar o windows e precisarei recuperar o lilo no mbr. O disco de boot que
eu criei quando atualizei o kernel também dá a mesma mensagem de erro quando
tento usá-lo.
