Actualizar de Sarge a Etch por shh

Hola, saldos a todos, quería saber si no había ningún inconvenente en 
hacer la actualización de Sarge a Etch por medio de una conección remota 
por ssh, alguno lo ha probado, hay alguna recomendación?
