Te envío mi archivo ddclient.conf y el /etc/init.d/ddclient modificado por mi para que arranque a la Debian; a mi me funciona en mi Woody aunque faltan algunas cosas por mejorar. Si no existe, tienes que crear el directorio /var/lock/subsys.
