Te mando varias pruebas de hda y hdb:
/dev/hda:
Timing buffer-cache reads: 128 MB in 0.73 seconds =174.41 MB/sec
Timing buffered disk reads: 64 MB in 2.45 seconds = 26.07 MB/sec
Estos resultados no parecen demasiado malos, pero depende de tu disco duro. Yo
tengo un Seagate Barracuda UDMA-100 de 80 gigas, con mas de un año de
antiguedad, y la lectura desde buffer-cache da mas de 600 megas/segundo y
desde disco alrededor de 40.
Parece que activar el multicount no es peligroso, quizas tu disco duro
funcione mejor con el o quizas no.
