Hi all. I'm still having trouble getting my cdrw to work correctly
under linux. The original post is:
http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2002/debian-user-200210/msg04527.html

I'm sorry to start a new thread about this, but I'm really getting a
little desperate here.

One thing that I've been able to put together is that IDE-cdrom support
has to be disabled for this to work, but these messages seem to be
related to older kernels. Can anybody tell me if this is still the
case? Would the fact that my dvd drive, which is on the same bus, is
able to rip mean that this is not the problem?

Any ideas/suggestions/help is greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.
