Hi, I have a box running woody v3, kernel 2.4.18, with uw-imap
I can connect from a client on the same network, everything works fine, but I cannot connect from home, or anyother network so far. The network guys assure me the correct ACL changes have been applied to the routers. >From home and another network, nmap reports Nmap xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -p 143 Starting nmap V. 2.12 by Fyodor ([EMAIL PROTECTED], www.insecure.org/nmap/) Interesting ports on (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx): Port State Protocol Service 143 filtered tcp imap2 What does 'filtered' mean ? Does tcpd have to be specifically configure to allow access from another network ? thanks Matthew Joyce -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
