I did not have any luck with that package converter. I used alien on the RPM and installed Sun Java 1.5.0. I places it in /usr/java which is OK.
Attempting the run Java, I get that it cannot find the main objects.
I followed instructions with the "virtual packages" which set up pointers to Java and it man pages. Still cannot run it.
