I have gotten this to work using a couple of efax front-ends, efax-gtk and kdeprintfax. Kdeprintfax can be set up called as a printer choice from kde applications. However, direct applications such as OpenOffice and others will only see the regular printers attached to the system, for example, on a parallel port using a known driver such as for Epson or HP.
What is needed is a front end such as one of the above which will come up when selecting a fax printer listed under CUPS. An interface might be using a URI. How might I set this up? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
