I'm running Debian Sid and have a SoundBlaster Live card. When I first boot-up and start, sound is running. I know this because I hear the KDE startup sound (KDE 3.3). I then lose the ability to play sounds. No sound notifications of any type are played. I checked, and the user is a member of the audio group.
Can anyone offer any help?
