Hello list,

sarge & sid on the same machine (hda1: /sarge ; hda2: /sid)
my printer is a LaserJet4+ with a jetdirect NIC pointing to 192.168.0.2 working perfectly with sarge.
After installing sid (last week) I tried to configure CUPS the same way as on my sarge installation.
I was able to login to sid's cups localhost:631 only one time. Logging into http://127.0.0.1:631/admin still works but if I remember correctly the frontend looks a little different than the one I saw at my first login.
The printer prints a test print (via CUPS) but doesn't appear in KDE's printing menus at all.
Now I wonder if there is the possibility to copy some files from sarge to sid to make the printer work.

regards
C. Emden
