Hello, Been using Samba instead on NFS to mount network drives since I have been led to believe Samba is more secure than NFS.
I have a line setup in /etc/fstab //211.11.11.11/Public /pub smbfs user, xxxxx, username=xxxxx, password=xxxxx 0 0 been everytime samba mounts, it mounts everything as root. I want it to mount everything with host permissions set. How can I accomplish this?
