No, no, no. An average user will ask "can I run application X, Y, Z (which I
absolutely need) on this system?". The point is not how much this application
costs, or whether it's bundled with the OS -- the point it whether it's there
at all.

Depending on the user profile (gamer|accounting|science|gfx artist|musician)
the apps X, Y, Z will vary.
