I missed the previous parte of the thread, so I am not sure if what you want is to change the login manager or the session manager. To change the default session manager I used: update-alternatives --set x-session-manager /usr/bin/startkde This starts KDE after loging-in (instead of Gnome), even though I am still using gdm to log in, which is the default in Debian. --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > I can't figure that out!
