You need mousedev for the generic mouse support and a second module 
specific to your mouse. For example "psmouse" for PS/2, "sermouse" 
for serial mice, or "usbhid" for USB mice. 

You can put the names of the modules you need into /etc/modules to 
have them loaded when the system boots.
