Have you tried remaking the journal with tune2fs -j ? I've never tried this on a filesystem with an already existing journal (corrupt or otherwise) but it may rebuild the journal from scratch (which would be the smart thing for it to do). ** Backup before trying this or anything else ** You may wish to take a copy of the filesystem with dd, mount it loopback and experiment there, if you can afford the space.
