The dll can be obtained from the Cygnus site as part the binary distribution for their current beta version of gcc. Unfortunately, if you try to run a binary compiled with the Debian Win32 compiler with the latest cygwin.dll it complains that the dll/application have incompatible versions (as Chris mentions). The (less than optimal) solution I use is to download the Cygnus binary distribution and compile the application on Win95 (yuck!). The binary distribution comes with GNU make and FLEX (but not bison!) and other tools, so re-compiling is relatively painless. Does anyone have experience compiling Cygnus' source on Linux?
