Hello, The .xinitrc problem was solved. /etc/X11/config requires xsession instead of xinitrc. xsession should be executable. Then all works.
Glut was uploaded as debian package yesterday :-) Mesa still has to be upgraded to version 2 I changed from fvwm to fvwm2 and didn't see the windows freeze (yet) ip-up doesn't work correctly yet.
