Thanks for the response on LINUX SUPPORT FOR CABLE MODEMS? Apparently, Linux doesn't have a driver for the Intel 82557-based PCI twisted-pair ethernet card. It looks as thought this is not the same as the EtherExpress Pro/10+ because it uses a different chip (the 82557). Does Linux 2.1.** have such a driver? ---
